Smith and Nephew - Jelonet Paraffin Gauze Dressing -10cm*10cm is a medical product used covering the wound can protect and isolate the wound, prevent the adhesion between gauze and the wound, make the water of the wound not volatile, and maintain a wet wound healing environment.
The gauze dressings are non adhesive and non allergic which keep the wound moist. It soothes and protects the wound and is suitable for minor burns, scalds, abrasions, suture wounds, surgical incisions, etc.
These disposable gauze dressing are commonly used in hospitals, emergency rooms, and other medical settings for wound care and treatment.

How To Use:
- Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
- Select the right size of dressing for the wound area. Carefully open the sterile pouch to remove the dressing inside.
- A secondary dressing is necessary when using gauze dressing. If needed, cut the tape and dress using sterile scissors.
- The dressing should be changed daily in heavily exudative wounds, reduced to every 3 days as the healing process proceeds. Otherwise to be changed clinically directed. The dressing should also be removed if the dressing has completely dried.
- Remove the dressing using tweezers or a gloved hand. Remove the dressing from the skin slowly and gently. The dressing may adhere if used on a dry wound. In this case, removal of the dressing can be helped by soaking the wound with sterile saline.
